When will my order ship and arrive?
Orders take 1-2 business days to ship and 2-4 business days to arrive.
Specifically, we ship orders every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cut off is 12pm Pacific Time the previous day.
Most orders ship with FedEx 2day Air, so they take 2 business days to arrive. We will send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number when your order ships.
What is the Allergen status?
All our products, as well as our facility are strictly FREE of Gluten, Peanuts, Eggs, Dairy and Soy. We do process some nuts at our facility (Almonds and Coconut), but the production is done in a separate production room and under strict cross contamination measures.
How much Pep powder should I consume?
1 Scoop (1/4Cup) = 30g of Carbs and 150 Calories.
Consume it as you would any other sports powder designed to fuel your activity with Carbohydrates and Electrolytes.
For low intensity efforts: 1-2 scoops per hour of activity. We recommend TRAIN Pep powders.
For high intensity efforts: 2-4 scoops per hour of activity. We recommend RACE Pep powders.
You can use Pep powder to make a drink in your water bottle, or use our Pep pouches to create a gel.

For all Pep TRAIN and RACE powders:

When/how should I consume Pep RACE powder?
As the name suggests, this powder was designed to fuel high intensity exercise, such as racing, intervals, hard workouts and competition.
Consume it as you would any other sports powder designed to fuel your activity with Carbohydrates and Electrolytes.
Make a drink in your water bottle, or use our Pep pouches to create a gel.
As a general guideline, consume 2-4 scoops of Pep RACE powder per hour of intense exercise. Consume 1 scoop in 8oz of water 20-30 min before a race or hard work-out to top of your energy stores.
When/how should I consume Pep TRAIN powder?
Think of Pep TRAIN powders as a granola bar -- but with no Sugar, no chewing and easier to digest!
The main difference compare to Pep RACE powder is that TRAIN powders have more complex Carbohydrates and No Added Sugar, so it's designed for easy and medium exertion activities.
Think hiking, bike rides and running at an intensity level where you're still able to have a conversation. It's also the right fuel for high-intensity intermittent sports, such as soccer, pickle ball, volleyball etc. Again, any type of effort that you can imagine bringing a granola bar for.

- Added Sugar: 10g (from Organic Cane Sugar, primary source of simple sugar Fructose for optimal saccharide ratio and fast energy delivery)
Train Powder:
- Carbohydrates: exactly 31g per Serving
- Total Sugars: 7g (Maltose from Organic Oat Milk)
- Added Sugar: 0g
How much Fiber is in a Serving?
Race Powder: exactly 1.2g per Serving
Train Powder: exactly 3.1g per Serving
What's the shelf-life of dry Pep powders?
At minimum 1 year from when you receive it. Specific best-by date is printed on the bag.
What's the shelf-life of Pep once I make it into a drink or gel?
Once you mix Pep powders with water, we recommend consuming within 12 hrs at ambient temps.
In refrigerator, it can be stored for 3-4 days.
Pep powders made into a gel also freeze very well and thaw out quickly (20-30 minutes in your pocket). On busy weeks, we like to make a big batch of Pep gel and have at least 10 full Pep pouches in the freezer that we can grab any time we're running out the door.
How to dispose of empty Pep bags?
All Pep bags (including both white bags and clear sample baggies) are BPI-certified for industrial composting.
1) Remove the adhesive label sticker (currently non-compostable) from the bag.
2) Dispose of the bag in your city’s yard waste bin. Place the label sticker in the trash.
If your city does not offer a yard waste program or industrial composting facility, please dispose of all Pep packaging in the trash.
While industrial composting is the ideal destination for a Pep bag, even when disposed of in the trash, you can feel confident knowing no petroleum-based plastics were used in its production. Pep bags are made in the USA from allergen-free, GMO-free, renewable wood cellulose.
Reusable Pep POUCHES are made from traditional plastic. Once a Pep pouch has served its purpose—saving hundreds of gel wrappers—please dispose of it in the trash.
