from 18 reviewsI’ve noticed major improvements to my running and bicycling during races and training days. Pep gives me that energy I need! I like the lighter flavor of lemon lime and it’s great to add Pep’s sodium to my mixes to tailor the nutrition to my specific needs.

I am a 76 year-old avid Pickleball player. My play would start out really strong, and then after about an hour, I felt my energy, stamina & focus really waning. Initially, I thought maybe I just needed more hydration so started bringing large bottles of water to the court with me. It didn’t help. Then I discovered PEP’s train electrolytes which I started adding into my water. Literally a game changer! The meal replacement/electrolyte combo not only allowed me to maintain my energy, stamina and focus, but I wasn’t hungry after 2 hours of play & grabbing the first unhealthy food that came my way. I Absolutely love these electrolytes & now they’re my go-to anytime I’m heading out the door for any strenuous exercise!

I've been struggling with cramps during hot weather long runs and workouts for a while. But today, finally no cramping! I did a 400x25 alternating 5k and marathon pace workout in hot temps. The flavor is really subtle. My electrolyte game is improving - Pep Nutrition high sodium electrolytes for the win!

The Raspberry race powder is my favorite! It works great in a water bottle for longer rides and in the pep pouch. I love the flavor. I haven’t made it as a carefully measured gel yet, but have found that I like things less viscous.

I've been using Pep for a couple months now, and I'm really happy with the results. It delivers steady energy and is easy on the gut, whether I'm going for a long trail run or doing hard hill repeats. The biggest appeal is the whole-foods ingredients: I love that I can feel good about what I'm putting in my body. (After all, there's more to health than just athletic performance!) On top of that, the reusable packaging is so much more sustainable than the gel packets I used to use. Compared to other high-carb products like Maurten, it's a good deal, too. Between performance, health, sustainability, and cost, Pep is an ideal fit for my endurance lifestyle.

I have a 2-3 hr long low-intensity exercise routine first thing in the morning that involves jogging to and from the YMCA. I start to feel lightheaded and hungry partway through. I am working out too hard to chew a bar and I think the gels are gross. So the Pep is perfect for me.

For years, my family has been focused on eating whole and clean ingredients in our everyday nutrition but I would eat absolute garbage during long runs. This was because there just wasn’t anything clean out there that had the convenience of sports nutrition but now Pep allows me to eat clean even when on the trail! Pep’s products allow me to follow the same nutrition values I follow at home while fueling for long trail runs, all while being available at an affordable price point. Thanks for making an excellent product, Pep team!

I used these reusable squeeze baggies originally, but found them to be hard to clean & keep up with. I now mix the powder in a half liter bottle or soft flask and drink it. I add 3 scoops (90g carbs and 450 calories) with 500ml water. The taste isn't too strong and it goes down easy.

It is a little sad to see all of the waste that is generated at ultra trail races and Pep’s simple yet innovative solution works great for taking nutrition on the trail while cutting down on waste. I’ve used my Pep Pouch over a dozen times now and it is holding up strong! Thanks for taking all the time to create Pep - you are making a positive impact on the trail community and our planet!

I like how it's so customizable. Being able to add caffeine is something I really like. Taste is good. I used the reusable squeeze baggies originally, but found them to be hard to clean & keep up with. I mix the powder in a half liter bottle, and slam that when I need an energy boost. As long as it's before midday I add caffeine to it as well. I feel like the energy/calorie boost is pretty long lasting. I like the texture of the product as well, it feels like real food but still goes down really easy. It's different than a gel.

I am pretty new to the world of endurance sports, so when I started looking into all the odd gels and fueling sources that were out there I felt a bit overwhelmed. I'm so thankful I found Pep because it is REAL fuel with reusable pouches!! I love the Raspberry Race, it kept me going on a mountain half- marathon and it tastes great. Excited to try other flavors.

Just used the race powder mixed as a liquid for a 25K trail run—and nothing else! It was nice to bypass the aid stations, although supplemental water was needed once. I really like the all natural ingredients, and the thought that went behind all of this. Nice job!
